Rte. 7. When you come to Kent, there’ll be a light at the intersection of Rte. 7 and Rte. 341, the only light in town. Go east on Rte 341. At this point, put your odometer on “0” and you will go exactly 3.4 miles up Rte 341 (you’ll bear left when you see what looks like a fork). At 3.4 miles, make a left on to Stone Fences (there’s a sign). Stone Fences is a cul-de-sac, so you won’t get lost.
After making the left on to Stone Fences, you’ll pass a field on your right. At the end of the field, there’ll be a double driveway on your right. Make a right on to the LEFT driveway. The mailbox says “48”.
FROM NEW YORK CITY:
Go north up the Henry Hudson Pkwy (West Side Hwy) which turns into the Saw Mill River Pkwy. Saw Mill River Pkwy turns in to Rte. 684. Go north on 684. 684 turns into Rte. 22. You’ll go around 15 miles, past Patterson, Pawling, then keep your eyes open on the left for the Wingdale RR Station. Across the street is a huge abandoned psychiatric hospital. About 1/2 mile after that, you’ll bear right on to Rte. 55. About 1/4 mile, Rte. 55 makes a right turn. Make sure you stay on it. This will take you to Rte. 7, at Gaylordsville, where you’ll make a left and go north. You’ll pass one light at Bull’s Bridge. When you come to Kent, there’ll be the next light at the intersection of Rte. 7 and Rte. 341. Make a right on to Rte 341. At this point, put your odometer on “0” and you will go exactly 3.4 miles up Rte 341 (you’ll bear left when you see what looks like a fork). At 3.4 miles, make a left on to Stone Fences (there’s a sign). Stone Fences is a cul-de-sac, so you won’t get lost. After making the left on to Stone Fences, you’ll pass a field on your right. At the end of the field, there’ll be a double driveway on your right. Make a right on to the LEFT driveway. You’ll see a small sign that says “48”.
